My name is Yonas Alemu, and like many Ethiopians, my childhood was deeply connected to teff farming and the rhythms of rural life.\u00a0Growing up in the Ethiopian highlands, teff was more than a grain \u2014 it was part of our culture, our meals, and our identity.
